An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Let's Go Navy, the 1951 William Beaudine screwball comedy ("Avast, you landlubbers, MAN THE LAUGH-BOATS!") starring Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hally, The Bowery Boys (including William Benedict, Bernard Gorcey [as Louie Dambrowski], and Buddy Gorman), Allen Jenkins, Tom Neal, and Charlita. Note that Bernard Gorcey was star Leo Gorcey's father, and he played Louie, the owner of the Sweet Shop, where the boys frequently hung out, and Louie was often involved in slapstick gags, and many times Leo Gorcey would be tormenting or slapping his own father! Important Added Info: Note that we were consigned a collection of posters and lobby cards from movies related to the Dead End Kids and the many sequel groups they appeared in, like the Bowery Boys. These were collected by one person in the 1970s, and it would take a lifetime to reassemble this collection, but all of these 160 items (which include many lobby card sets in single auctions) will have new owners when these auctions end! Condition: fair to good. The poster is in lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the borders and foldlines/crossfolds, and there are one or more areas of significant foldline and/or crossfold separation. A few of the tears or other defects as described above are repaired with tape from the back. There is a tear at the center crossfold and it is backed with tape and someone performed some amateur restoration to that area. Learn More about condition grades
