A 1967 Re-Release Theatrical Unfolded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 23" x 33 1/4" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Detstvo Gorkogo (released in the U.S. in 1938 as "The Childhood of Maxim Gorky"), the 1938 Mark Donskoy Russian biographical melodrama (about Aleksei Peshkov who was later known as Maxim Gorky) starring Aleksei Lyarsky, Varvara Massalitinova, Mikhail Troyanovsky, Yelizaveta Alekseyeva, and Vasili Novikov. Note that this was one of three movies (essentially a trilogy) that were released in 1938, 1939, and 1940. The first was "Detstvo Gorkogo" (The Childhood of Maxim Gorky). The second was "V Lyudyakh" (On His Own). The third was "Moi universitety" (My University). Artist: Wiktor Gorka Condition: good.
