An Original Vintage Folded Circus Poster (measures 14" x 42") (Learn More) Sam B. Dill's 3 Ring Circus, the circa 1930s poster advertising Sam B. Dill's 3 Ring Circus coming to town ("Featuring Tom Mix & Tony"). Note that there is an extensive history of this circus available on the Internet, and by reading that, it is clear that the main attraction of this circus was Tom Mix and Tony, and that other than the stars, the circus consisted of mostly second rate acts. This poster is from one of the earliest performances of the circus (it started in January of 1934, but did not have performances until later). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we thought that the main attraction of this circus was Tom Mix and Tony, but this particular poster only shows two lions, so obviously, Mix was not the only attraction! Condition: good. There are major tears in the top title area (one section is almost completely separated). There are tears and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster, and a few water stains. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration. But the poster is mostly "all there", and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will likely require very little paint restoration within the image.
