An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 19") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). The window card had a blank top that was very neatly trimmed off, and it now measures 14" x 19". It had been folded across the middle and there were minor creases along the folds. There were creases and smudges around the edges of the card and there was a small tear in the middle of the left red background area and some scuffs in the bottom of the dangling phone. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but you can see slight signs of the above defects (although they are not really noticeable or distracting). Learn More about condition grades
