An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Show Business, the 1932 Jules White railroad train stage acting screwball comedy short (produced by Hal Roach; in this entry, the girls have a pet monkey on the train with them!) starring Thelma Todd, Zasu Pitts, Anita Garvin, Monte Collins, and an uncredited Paulette Goddard. Note that this is one of 17 sexy comedies that Thelma Todd and Zasu Pitts made together between 1931 and 1933. They weren't great movies, but they were really popular at the box office! In 1933, Zasu Pitts was replaced by Patsy Kelly, and Todd and Kelly made an additional 22 similar sexy comedies! Thelma Todd's unfortunate "suicide" (perhaps a mob hit) in 1935 ended this popular series of shorts.

Important Added Info: Note that the cast list for this movie includes Paulette Goddard as "blonde train passenger". Given that this scene shows a sexy blonde on the train, we would think there is an excellent chance it is Paulette Goddard! If anyone knows for sure, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
