UPDATED 04/23/2012: Note that we have updated the Condition Description and the Condition Grade.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold and some darkening on the foldlines and unevenly around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster onto a thin linen "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. It has been roughly handled, and there are light horizontal creases in both the poster and the thin linen. If I owned this cool poster, I would likely have it removed from the thin linen and properly backed, although I can imagine many collectors displaying it as is.
