Date Sold 8/7/2011 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14") (Learn More) Two Guys From Texas (also released as "Two Texas Knights"), the 1948 David Butler cowboy western country musical comedy ("Warner Bros. round-up of song, spectacle and Texas sweethearts!!"; "Warner Bros.' riotin' musical round-up in TECHNICOLOR!"; "Suggested by a Play by Robert Sloane and Louis Pelletier") starring Dennis Morgan, Jack Carson, Dorothy Malone, Penny Edwards, Joy Barlow (as a blue-eyed Native American Indian girl!), and featuring the voice of Mel Blanc as Bugs Bunny! Important Added Info: Note that TWO of these lobby cards (the title card and one of the scenes) have been personally autographed (signed) by Penny Edwards! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who purchased the collection of a dedicated collector, who was a major film buff from the 1950s through the 1990s. He would purchase stills on stars he liked, and then he would go to events or collectibles shows (he went to virtually every collectibles show where stars appeared!), and he would get the items autographed, and many of his photos were personalized to him with nice inscriptions, because over time many of the celebrities who regularly attended shows came to be friends with him! Over many years he was able to acquire a large number of signed stills, and his collection was purchased by our consignor. In this set of auctions we are auctioning the last of his autographed items (and we auctioned others in past "all signed" auctions). We feel certain that the autographs on these items are authentic! Note that each of the items from this consignor all have this paragraph on them. Condition: very good to fine.
