An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Old Homestead, the 1922 James Cruze silent family relationship stolen money melodrama ("In Theodore Roberts Uncle Josh lives again"; "Adapted from Denman Thompson's play by Perley Poore Sheehan and Frank Woods"; about a kindly old man whose nephew is accused of stealing money, and he mortgages his farm to cover his nephew's loss, and he risks losing it, but in the end everything works out alright) starring Theodore Roberts, George Fawcett, T. Roy Barnes, Harrison Ford (not the same Harrison Ford that we know as an actor today, but a very popular leading man of the 1920s), and Fritzi Ridgeway. Note that this was a very popular play that was filmed four different times, once before this version, and twice after. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some vertical tears in the left and right of the top horizontal fold, with a few small tears at the middle crossfold and minor wear on the other foldlines.
