Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster with a completely different image from any other poster from this movie we are aware of. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Not only that, but it virtually NEVER changes hands, either publicly or privately. It is a poster that LOTS of collectors would love to own, but very few have ever had the opportunity to buy one. But when this auction closes, one person who did not own it will now own it, and it may be many years before we are consigned another example. It really is THAT rare! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has pretty minor wear on the folds, with no paper loss at the crossfolds. It has many creases in the top of the top right solid black area, with a lesser amount of creases scattered down the right and across the bottom of the poster. The poster has two tears in the bottom border and two in the right of the top border, and many years ago, someone put tape on the back of those. The tape fell off at some point, and someone put clear tape over those same tears. There is also a semi-circular water stain on the back of the top center (slightly to the right of center) that extends 1" at its deepest, but it does not affect the front. There are a few creases scattered in the image. I go into extreme detail on exactly what defects this poster has, because of its great rarity and desirability. What is nice about it is both that its defects are mostly in the borders, and the image and title area are pretty unaffected by them. We could have had this poster linenbacked prior to auctioning, but then buyers would not know for certain exactly what defects it had, plus, they could not have chosen the exact restorer they wanted to perform the restoration, and also exactly what type of restoration they wanted performed. In any event, after restoration by a top professional, this wonderful poster will display incredibly on the new owner's wall.
