R1940s Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Galloping Romeo, the 1933 Robert N. Bradbury (billed as "R.N. Bradbury") romantic stagecoach cowboy western (about two cowboys wanting to go to California and find brides, and Bob Steele does, but then they hear about a stagecoach that keeps getting robbed, even though the locked box on top of it has not been opened or tampered with, and they take the job of riding the stage, thinking they'll solve the mystery, but it gets robbed again in the same way, and they are the prime suspects!) starring Bob Steele, Doris Hill, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Edward Brady, Frank Ball, and Ernie Adams. Note that this movie was from a story by Robert Bradbury, and he also wrote the screenplay and directed it, and his son, Bob Steele, starred in it, so it was definitely very much a "family affair"!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in good to very good condition. There were tears and paper loss across the bottom foldline and the restorer did not match the background color closely, so the restored areas in the background are more noticeable than they should be. The same is true of other areas of restoration in the borders and white background areas. The image area is in pretty nice condition with tiny holes at the top and middle crossfolds and minor wear of the foldlines.
