The Season's Surprise Film!"; about a man who makes illusions for magicians to use in their acts, and he exposes fake spiritualists on the side, just as Harry Houdini did, and then he finds a murder victim who is in a room that has no access, and it seems that it must have been a supernatural presence that committed the crime, and it is only the first of several murders!) starring Robert Young, Florence Rice, Frank Craven, Henry Hull, Lee Bowman, and Cliff Clark. Note that this was the last film directed by Tod Browning!
