An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

After Midnight with Boston Blackie, the 1943 Lew Landers Massachusetts detective mystery crime thriller ("Blackie keeps the action boiling!"; "Blackie keeps cops blushing while blushing bride waits!"; "Cleverest of rogues halts march of crime with bullets!") starring Chester Morris (in the title role as Boston Blackie), George E. Stone, Ann Savage, Richard Lane, Lloyd Corrigan, Al Hill, Cy Kendall, and Walter Baldwin. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened. It is fragile and has tears and paper loss in the bottom border, and some creases and tears in the other borders.
