An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Penrod and Sam, the 1931 William Beaudine juvenile boy-and-his-dog comedy ("The gang's all here!"; "Booth Tarkington's Immortal Classic"; "Story by Booth Tarkington") starring Leon Janney (in the title role as Penrod), Junior Coghlan (in the title role as Sam), Matt Moore, Dorothy Peterson, Zasu Pitts, and James 'Hambone' Robinson (as "Zip-Zip the Cannaball"). Note that there had been two silent movies with these characters in 1923 and 1924. There were also three later sound movies with the same characters in 1937 and 1938.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
