An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 5 1/4" x 7 3/4" [13 x 20 cm] when folded; 4 pages) (Learn More) The Eagle's Mate, the 1914 James Kirkwood silent romantic melodrama ("Dreams of home."; "A drama of splendid emotions and heroic action"; "When a bird is caught by an eagle it is no use to struggle."; "Desperate with hunger Anemone eats the food she first refused."; "The Mornes always fight for their mates."; "You're going to be my wife!"; "A story palpitant with primal passions and the joy of life.") starring Mary Pickford ("The world's foremost motion picture star"), James Kirkwood, Ida Waterman, Robert Broderick, Harry C. Browne, Helen Gilmore, Estelle Kibby, R.J. Henry, and Russell Bassett NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1914 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned ANY movie paper item from this movie (only a glass slide from the 1918 re-release) until we received this herald! One my wonder if this herald is also from the 1918 re-release, but it has "Wednesday, March 10th" on the front. This occurred in 1915, and not again until 1920, so it tells us this herald is from the original release (obviously it was still being shown in March of 1915). Condition: very good.
