Hear Jean Harlow sing the blues!"; "The giant melody drama!"; "MGM's mammoth musical melodrama!"; Harlow is a showgirl who is madly in love with sports promoter Powell, but he doesn't have time for her, and rich Tone chases after her, but discovers his rich high society friends won't accept showgirl Harlow, even after he marries her) starring Jean Harlow, William Powell, Franchot Tone, May Robson, Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Nat Pendleton, Robert Light, Rosalind Russell, Mickey Rooney, Allen 'Farina' Hoskins, Man Mountain Dean (the real life wrestler, as himself!), Allan Jones ("The new crooning sensation!"), Henry Stephenson, and Leon Ames NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned several lobby cards from this movie, but we have never before auctioned this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is faint water staining in the top, left, and bottom 1" of the card. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the water staining can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although I think most collectors could happily display this great card on their wall just as it is).
