Being There, the 1979 Hal Ashby Washington D.C. political dark comedy ("A story of chance"; "'I can't read. I can't write.' -Chance the gardener 'He can't lose.' -Unanimous"; "Based on the novel by Jerzy Kosinski"; about a simple man who becomes adviser to the President; a dark satire on our political system) starring Peter Sellers (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Chance), Shirley MacLaine (as Eve Rand), Jack Warden (as President Bobby), Melvyn Douglas (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Benjamin Rand), Richard Dysart, and Richard Basehart

Condition: very good. The poster was lightly folded in half an extra time. There are creases in the foldlines and borders. There are many pairs of staple holes in the borders as well as several in the image area. There is a theater ink pad stamp on the back of each card that slightly bleeds through to the front in each corner of the image background. The bottom border was folded back at one time.
