An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Marie Doro was born in 1882, and she starred in many very early movies, starting in 1902. She was a direct descendant of Patrick Henry! She continued working in movies through the 1910s, but in the early 1920s, she tired of Hollywood, and she moved to England and Italy. She became a recluse in later life, avoiding all her past acquaintances. She was only briefly married in 1915 and never had any children. She passed away in New York City in 1956 at the age of 74. An interesting piece of trivia is that Charlie Chaplin said that she was his first true love! Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.
