An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Helen Morgan ia the famed real life torch singer who became a major star at the height of the Roaring Twenties, but who became an alcoholic and had a sensational crash landing to her career in the early 1930s; she had one final triumph in the re-make of "Show Boat" in 1936, but died of cirrhosis of the liver in 1941 when she was only 41 years old. Important Added Info: Note that this deluxe English still has a stamp on the back that says "PHOTOGRAPHIC REPRODUCTION BY HARRY LOWE". We believe that a negative for the still was sent to England that that they printed this still there (which would explain why there is a reproduction of the embossed photographer name that was in the lower left; it was embossed when first printed, but reproduced in this still). Please do not bid on this still thinking it is the first generation embossed still. Note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm], but it has not been trimmed.
