You have an appointment with death!") starring Chester Morris ("as 'Boston Blackie'"), Janis Carter, William Wright, Richard Lane, and George E. Stone. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. The title card has a few very tiny dot stains in some portions of the edges and a stray pencil mark at upper right. The one with Morris seated on the couch has a tear at lower right that has been repaired with tape from the back.
