An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) Slaves of the Sin-Dicate, the 1967 organized crime sexploitation movie (a wacky story of a couple who get jobs with the syndicate that runs vice in the town they have just moved to, and the wife is killed, and the man rises up in the organization, being put in charge of prostitution, but he has a fling with the boss' girlfriend, and he goes on the run from both the police and the mob!). Important Added Info: Note that this poster contains unclothed women, so we have placed a white bar over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have those white bars! Also note that this poster measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small snipes over the chest of the girl at bottom (but oddly, not over the girl at top!), and they were removed, causing slight surface paper loss and leaving some residue. The name of the movie was written on the back of the top and it bleeds through to the front in the "AV" of "SLAVES". The poster also had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some extra creases and tiny tears in the top and bottom horizontal folds, and some tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
