An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Bride Wore Crutches, the 1940 Shepard Traube crime mystery thriller ("When 'Dizzy' Dixon appeared -- trouble had arrived!"; "With a groom like him no wonder The Bride Wore Crutches"; about a newspaper reporter who witnesses a bank robbery and rather than report the story, he finds the gang, joins them, and gets them all arrested!; the reporter is played by Ted North, and Lynne Roberts has crutches for only a tiny portion of the movie, so the title is extremely deceptive!) starring Lynne Roberts, Ted North, Edgar Kennedy, Robert Armstrong, Lionel Stander, and Richard Lane NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. The poster had major tape stains in the top and bottom of the vertical foldline and tears and areas of paper loss in the left half of the top foldline, and many creases on the other folds. There were tears and many tape stains around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking.
