Pardon My Sarong, the 1942 Erle C. Kenton South Seas tropical island romantic screwball comedy (about a pair of bus drivers who manage to steal their own bus, drive it into the ocean, and get involved with a rich playboy on his way to a tropical island, and also sinister jewel thieves) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Virginia Bruce, Robert Paige, Leif Erickson, Lionel Atwill, Nan Wynn, Samuel S. Hinds, "Tip, Tap, and Toe Dancers", The Saronga Dancing Girls, "Those Sensational Harmony Hits" The Four Ink Spots, Marie McDonald (10th in the credits, and unbilled, though she would soon become famous as Marie "The Body" McDonald!), William Demarest, and Sig Arno

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is a real mystery to us! We believe it to be from the first release because of the tagline at top ("Their Newest, Biggest, Balmiest Hit!") and the Universal credit at bottom indicates that it is not from a 'local theater' printing but it is in duotone indicating it may be a military poster but we have never seen a military poster this old! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: fair. There is MUCH tattering, tearing, and some paper loss along the foldlines and there are several pairs of staple holes scattered throughout the poster (most repaired with tape from the back).
