Artist: McClelland Barclay Condition: good to very good. Someone trimmed a tiny amount from each border (between 1/8" and 1/2" each, likely to fit a frame). Only blank white paper was affected. The poster also had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds. There were creases, tiny tears, and tiny dots of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, and a few creases and small tears scattered in the image. There was an extra horizontal fold at a slight diagonal above the right half of the top foldline and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, and the restorer replaced the missing thin areas of blank paper to the blank borders, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
