Janice Meredith, the 1924 E. Mason Hopper silent Revolutionary War historical biography romantic love triangle comedy (from the novel by Paul Leicester Ford; set in 1774, Marion Davies is from a Tory family, but she doesn't discriminate against patriots, and she has a lover from both sides!) starring Marion Davies (in the title role as Janice Meredith), Harrison Ford, Macklyn Arbuckle, Joseph Kilgour (as George Washington), George Nash, Tyrone Power Sr. (as General Cornwallis), Princess Marie De Bourbon (as Marie Antoinette), and W.C. Fields (as "a British sergeant"). Note that this movie was set at the birth of the United States, and lots of historical figures make cameo appearances, including the ones noted above!
