Rashomon (released in the U.S. in 1952 as "Rasho-mon"), the classic 1950 Akira Kurosawa Japanese murder mystery crime thriller ("Acclaimed the best picture of the year from any country"; "Winner of the grand prize 1951 Venice Film Festival"; "The great and exciting Japanese production which brings a new experience in the cinema."; where a killing is shown from four different points of view, with wildly different versions) starring Toshiro Mifune, Machiko Kyo (billed as "...introducing the beautiful Machiko Kyo"), Masayuki Mori, Takashi Shimura, and Minoru Chiaki

Important Added Info: Note that we contacted several experts, and they agree that this undated poster is an early re-release, and one was certain it is from 1962 or 1963. Also, note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Finally, note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There are several creases throughout the poster from it being oddly folded at one time. There is a 1/2" circular area of paper loss in the middle of the right edge which has been repaired with paper tape from the back and there are some 1" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster that have been repaired with tape from the back. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition and after linenbacking it will look great with little restoration needed (mostly around the edges).
