An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded German Mini Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 9 1/2" x 14 3/4" [24 x 37 cm]) (Learn More) Dirigible, the 1931 Frank Capra (one of his first major successes) zeppelin air aviation adventure thriller ("Overshadows any picture ever made!"; "Mammoth Epic of the Air"; "He went through hell for a woman who did not want him!"; "From the story by Lt. Comdr. Frank Wilber Wead, USN.") starring Jack Holt, Ralph Graves, Fay Wray, Hobart Bosworth (who was seriously injured during the production when he placed dry ice in his mouth to emulate cold breath), Roscoe Karns, and Clarence Muse NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: H. Important Added Info: Note that this is certainly a first release German window card from this early Frank Capra movie. But we don't know if it is from 1931, because we can't find the first year release date in Germany, and the IMDb shows two other European countries as having released it in 1933, so it might be either of those years. We have never seen a German window card before, but there are so few pre-World War II German posters in existence, that it certainly does not surprise us to see this unusual size. Note that the window card is printed on a heavy "lobby card-like" paper and can't be rolled. Condition: very good to fine. The window card has a play date snipe glued across the bottom area but is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
