An Original Vintage Theatrical 7" x 9" Movie Still (Learn More)

Edna Ferber's Show Boat, the 1936 James Whale epic romantic interracial romance riverboat musical ("Version of 1936"; "The grandest show you'll ever know!"; "Hear Glorious New Music and Songs by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein") starring Irene Dunne, Allan Jones, Charles Winninger, Paul Robeson, Helen Morgan, Helen Westley, Queenie Smith, Sammy White, Donald Cook, Hattie McDaniel, Sunnie O'Dea, "and a Cast of Thousands". Note that Universal had previously made a version of this classic stage play in 1929 (starring Lauira LaPlante, Joseph Schildkraut, and Jules Bledsoe), and it was remade again in 1951 (starring Howard Keel, Ava Gardner, and William Warfield)!

Condition: good to very good. this still was evenly trimmed on all four sides and measures 7" x 9" (and there is an additional area of loss in the lower left corner); there are some light smudges and scuffs around the edges of the still (mostly only noticeable when it is tilted to the light)
