Original Vintage Theatrical Lobby Card (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Frankenstein's Daughter, the 1958 Richard E. Cunha monster horror thriller ("It reaches from the grave to re-live the horror the terror!"; "More destructive!"; "More terrifying!"; about Dr. Frankenstein's insane grandson who attempts to create horrible monsters in modern day Los Angeles) starring John Ashley, Sandra Knight, Donald Murphy (as Oliver Frank, Frankenstein's grandson), Sally Todd (in the title role as the daughter of the mad doctor), Harold Lloyd Jr. (billed as "Introducing Harold Lloyd, Jr."), Wolfe Barzell, and Harry Wilson (as the monster). Note that this movie concerns Frankenstein's grandson, who both causes a girl to mutate into a werewolf-type monster, and who stitches together a male monster from assorted body parts. According to an interview with the director in the book "The Astounding B Monster", the title was given to him by the distributors and he was told to develop a story for it. The monster is actually supposed to be a female, but due to the fact that they hired a guy to play the part and that the makeup man had no time to prep the makeup, so the monster ended up looking like a guy even though he was "Frankenstein's Daughter", but that was the best they could do! Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #2 in the title of the auction is not the number of the lobby card (whenever we know the number of a lobby card we list it for those of you who know which scenes you are looking for). In this case, the cards from this particular set were un-numbered, but because we are selling more than one card from this set this week as separate eBay auctions, we needed to differentiate the auctions, and we do so by marking them "#2, #3, etc. (Note that we do not use #1, because this is commonly used to signify the title card). Condition: very good to fine. There are two areas around the center of the card that have minor paper loss that were backed with tape. There is some minor staining in the bottom blank border and some staple holes in the center of the top blank border. Learn More about condition grades
