An Original Vintage Local Theater Window Card Poster (WC; measures 17" x 26 1/4" [43 x 67 cm]) (Learn More) the 1932 local theater double-bill release of Scarface, the classic 1932 Howard Hawks gangster crime thriller (produced by Howard Hughes; written by Ben Hecht; loosely based on the rise and fall of Al Capone, who had a scar on his face and was sometimes called "Scarface", but never to his face) starring Paul Muni (in the title role; as Tony Camonte), Ann Dvorak (as Tony's sister), Karen Morley, Osgood Perkins, C. Henry Gordon, George Raft (as Guino Rinaldo, Tony's best friend), Vince Barnett, and Boris Karloff (the movie was made before Frankenstein, and on the first posters for the movie, he is simply billed as "Boris Karloff", but on early re-releases, after Frankenstein had been a huge success, he is billed as "Boris 'Frankenstein' Karloff") AND Two Seconds, the 1932 Mervyn LeRoy condemned man courtroom trial crime thriller ("His life was a living Hell until he killed the thing that Crushed him!"; "A First National and Vitaphone hit"; about a man who is about to executed and who re-lives all his mistakes in his final two seconds of his life!) starring Edward G. Robinson ("His Mightiest Picture"; "The Man of a Thousand Characters ...in his first great love drama!"), Vivienne Osborne, Guy Kibbee, Preston Foster, and J. Carrol Naish NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we know that this double-bill release is from 1932 because of the dates at the top of the image, which fell in 1932. This window card is from when these two movies played together in a smaller theater as a double-bill. Of course, first release posters from Scarface from 1932 cost fortunes and are incredibly rare. This local theater window card is a much more affordable alternative! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 17" x 26 1/4" [43 x 67 cm]. Note that this poster needs to be sent in a large flat package that will be more expensive to send, so bear this added expense in mind before bidding on this poster! Condition: good. There are tears, paper loss and some water staining around the edges with two holes in the lower right of the image (they look like nail holes). Learn More about condition grades
