An Unfolded German Advertising Poster (measures 36 1/2" x 54" [93 x 137 cm]) (Learn More)

Berliner Illustrirte Zeitung (literally translates to "Berliner Illustrated Newspaper" and often abbreviated BIZ) was a weekly illustrated magazine published in Berlin from 1892 to 1945. It was the first mass-market German magazine and pioneered the format of the illustrated news magazine.
Artist: Kurt Szafranski
Important Added Info: Note that this advertising poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. It was printed to promote this newspaper/magazine, and the words say that it has "new war pictures", and it has a great image of a silhouette of a soldier on a horse.

Condition: good. The top section of the poster has paper loss in the top left corner, with a stamp and numbers in the background area below that. It has some tape stains in the borders. The bottom section also has a stamp and numbers in the middle left background area, and some small tears around the edges, with small paper loss in the bottom border. After a relatively simple linenbacking, the poster will look great!
