An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Road to Hollywood, the 1946 Bud Pollard California pseudo-documentary musical anthology ("8 Great Song Hits"; adapted from four of Bing Crosby's early shorts including "Billboard Girl", "Dream House", "I Surrender Dear", and "One More Chance") starring Bing Crosby, Luis Alberni, Matty Kemp, Ann Christy, Eddie Phillips, Dick Stewart, Vernon Dent, Katherine Ward, Alice Adair, Bud Pollard, and Marion Sayers. Note that this movie was released by Astor Pictures, a releasing studio that mostly did re-releases, but did a few first release movies (usually lower budget movies such as this one). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the film distributor "Astor Pictures" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release! Condition: good. There is a 3" tear in the left of the top edge of the card that has been repaired with tape from the back and there is some tattering and paper loss around the edges of the card.
