Ever Onward To Victory, the 1976 Cuban OSPAAAL poster (in multiple languages) promoting October 8th as the Day of the Heroic Guerilla, and featuring Victor Manuel Navarrete artwork of Che Guevara. OSPAAAL (The Organization of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa and Latin America) is a Cuban political movement with the stated purpose of promoting the causes of socialism and communism in the Third World, fighting globalization, imperialism, neoliberalism and defending human rights. OSPAAAL was founded in Havana in January 1966, after the Tricontinental Conference, a meeting of leftist delegates from several nations. Many of the posters created by OSPAAAL featured multiple languages so they could be used for international audiences, and they often came in copies of OSPAAAL's Tricontinental magazine. The U.S. embargo of Cuba and the fall of the Soviet Union eventually caused considerable difficulty in poster production, and it wasn't until the 2000s that production was able to increase again.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster has a few creases along the folds and around the edges, but otherwise it is in nice condition!
