If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42 1/4" [71 x 107 cm]. It has slightly different taglines from the one-sheet from this movie we have previously auctioned, and we don't know if one of those posters predates the other. In addition, this one-sheet was overprinted with a tagline at the top for Doris Dowling, who had become famous from her role in The Lost Weekend (it is stenciled over the original tagline which said "Nothing short of sensational", which is not on the other poster). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had extra folds near to the regular ones, with some creases, scuffs, and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It was stenciled over to promote Doris Dowling (see above). Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
