Elliot Lawrence is a jazz pianist and bandleader from the 1940s to the present. As a composer, he has scored the movies Network and The French Connection. As a musical director he has won 9 Emmy awards for musical direction and been nominated for many others. Some of his works include: Gigolette, Swinging at the Steel Pier, and Jump Steady. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 95!

Our consignor is a longtime memorabilia dealer who has purchased autographs several times over the past 30 years, and he feels certain that this signature is authentic.
