The Circus, the 1928 Charlie Chaplin silent slapstick big top circus comedy ("Chaplin's uproarious escapades under the Big Top.") starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin; as the Tramp), Al Ernest Garcia, Merna Kennedy, Harry Crocker, George Davis, and Tiny Sanford. Note that Chaplin won an Oscar for "versatility and genius in acting, writing, directing and producing The Circus". Though initially nominated for Best Actor, the Academy decided to remove Chaplin's name from the competitive classes and give him a Special Award instead.

Condition: good to very good. The card's top right corner was separated diagonally, and someone reattached it with tape from the back. There are a few stains around the edges and a 1" tear near the center of the bottom border. There is a small tear in the middle of the right border that has a piece of tape on it, and very tiny paper loss in three corners, with small paper loss in the left of the top blank border. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition.
