It is an unfortunate legacy of Citizen Kane that people assume that the character of the second Mrs. Kane was based on Marion Davies (which it was), but they also assume that Miss Davies was a no talent actress in the way the second Mrs. Kane was a no talent singer. This was definitely NOT true, and if you have never seen any Marion Davies movies, you should, because you will see that she was definitely talented! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
