Webb Civil War romantic rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical ("Mr. Rock 'N' Roll in the story he was born to play!"; "...singin' man ...fightin' man ...lovin' man"; "Based on a story by Maurice Geraghty") starring Richard Egan, Debra Paget, Elvis Presley (billed as "introducing Elvis Presley in his first motion picture"; in his first movie!), Robert Middleton, William Campbell, Neville Brand, Mildred Dunnock, Bruce Bennett, and James Drury. Note that producer Hal Wallis intended the 1957 film "Loving You" to be the first Elvis film. However, six months before the start of production for that project, Wallis loaned Elvis to 20th Century Fox and "Love Me Tender" became his first movie. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned three examples of this British quad, but the last one was 9 years ago! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has light fine and light creases and a few tiny areas of paper loss in the crossfolds. It has a partial vertical crease and some faint smudges at upper right (see our image).
