Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. We have provided both a high quality scan of the image and also a separate image of how the glass slide looks, but in that digital image, you can really just see the outline of the slide and defects (if any) around the edges. Condition: fair. There is a vertical crack in the front pane running down the right edge of the image (running through the "E" of "BARRYMORE" and the edge of Lionel Barrymore's image). There also is a diagonal crack in the top right corner. The back pane has three long cracks in the same area. The glass is quite fragile and must be handled carefully. But the great image is mostly unaffected, and surely someone could strengthen the glass by gluing it or some other method. Please do not bid on this slide unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored! Learn More about condition grades
