An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Phyllis Diller was an actress and comedienne from the 1950s to the 2000s. She had married young and was a housewife raising children, but at the age of 37, her husband lost his job, and she took up stand-up comedy in the late 1950s! She primarily performed self-deprecating comedy, but she also made many TV appearances (some on talk shows, and some in sitcoms) and was in a few films. She passed away in 2012 at the age of 95. Important Added Info: Note that this publicity still is undated, but it is surely from the late 1950s or early 1960s, when Miss Diller was represented by the General Amusement Corporation, at the start of her career!
