Granatelli was an auto mechanic who went on to promote automobile racing events, as well as participating with his brothers in several Indianapolis 500 races. He went on to become the CEO of the STP motor oil company after being a sponsor and spokesman, and attended every Indianapolis 500 race from 1946 to 2012. He passed away in 2013 at the age of 90. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Andy Granatelli! Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper and autographed items who purchased this signed item over the years, and he either obtained it from a dealer through the mail, or by writing to the celebrity, and in each case, he compared the autograph he received with known examples of that star's handwriting, and he (and we) believe that this autograph is authentic.
