Yeaworth Jr. science fiction (sci-fi) horror comedy thriller ("The Indestructible creature! The Blob"; "Bloated with the blood of its victims!"; "The management of this theatre disclaims any responsibility for heart attacks or damage to nerves."; "Certified"; "In Color!"; "Indescribable... Indestructible! Nothing can stop it!"; "It's indescribable! It's indestructible! Nothing... can stop it!"; "From an idea by Irvine H. Millgate") starring Steve McQueen (very young in this role; billed here as "Steven McQueen"), Aneta Corsaut (billed as "Aneta Corseaut" on the first release posters), Earl Rowe, Olin Howlin, Stephen Chase, John Benson, and George Karas. Note that the music for the title song for this movie was written by Burt Bacharach! Note that even though Steve McQueen was top billed in this movie, he was not yet known to the general public, and his image was not used on the posters (which DO have great art of the blob monster engulfing the townspeople). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. Card #1 has tiny pairs of staple holes around the edges and at center. It has slightly darkened and it has some discoloration in the blank corner at upper left and right. Card #2 has darkened and it has some tack holes around the edges with a few light scuff marks in the image. Card #3 has some smudges and faint scuff marks around the edges and some pinholes at center and upper center. There is tape on back at upper and lower center that was not put there for any restoration purpose, typical of vintage lobby cards. Card #4 has some faint tape stains at left, right and upper center (the original tape was not put there for any restoration purpose). Card #5 has some faint smudges and tiny pinholes around the edges. There is some slight discoloration at upper right in the blank corner and there is a diagonal crease in the upper left blank corner. Card #6 has some tape stains in four corners of the back of the image area and they very slightly bleed through to the front. There are some smudges, tiny pinholes and tape stains around the edges. Card #7 has some edge wear and some discoloration in the lower right blank edge, as well as some slight discoloration at upper right in the blank border. Card #8 has a faint tape stain at right in the blank border. Overall, many of the above defects affect only the borders and edges and the complete set is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
