Rocky, the classic 1976 John G. Avildsen (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Philadelphia Pennsylvania boxing sports action romantic melodrama ("His whole life was a million-to-one shot."; "Written by Sylvester Stallone"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award; produced by Irwin Winkler) starring Sylvester Stallone (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Rocky Balboa), Talia Shire (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Adrian), Burt Young (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Carl Weathers (as Apollo Creed), Burgess Meredith (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Mickey"), and Butkus Stallone (as Butkus the dog!). Note this film was released late in 1976 and all of the first release U.S. posters have a 1977 NSS number on them.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never seen a U.S. three-sheet or six-sheet on this classic movie! It seems quite possible that there were no American three-sheets made for this movie, but there obviously was this cool almost life-sized Australian three-sheet!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
