Batoru Rowaiaru (released in English-speaking countries as "Battle Royale"), the 2000 (released in the U.S. in 2001) Kinji Fukasaku Japanese science fiction (sci-fi) teen action dystopian future thriller ("Could you kill your best friend?"; "1 game, 42 student players just 1 can live."; "'Survivor' who kill everyone even though [sic] best friend. "; "Based on the novel by Koushun Takami"; about a class of 9th graders selected to be put on an abandoned island to kill each other off as part of a futuristic law) starring Tatsuya Fujiwara, Aki Maeda, Taro Yamamoto, Masanobu Ando, Kou Shibasaki, Chiaki Kuriyama, and Takeshi Kitano (billed as "Beat Takeshi")

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "foil" poster meaning that it is printed on a shiny aluminum foil-like surface. This foil can be damaged quite easily and because of that, foil posters are difficult to find in great condition. Also note that the text areas on the poster are "embossed" meaning they are somewhat raised from the rest of the poster. Also note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Finally, note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures approximately 28 1/2" x 40 1/2"! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall!
