Spearman's sensational R.R. story 'The Nerve of Foley'"; about a cowboy who is on a train delivering cattle for his boss, and when the engineer refuses to go straight through, the cowboy takes over the train and the superintendent of the railroad offers him a job, which he takes when he sees the superintendent's pretty daughter) starring Jack Daugherty (as Joseph Foley), Blanche Mehaffey, Tom O'Brien, Charles K. French, William Steele, Harry Todd, Madge Hunt, and Syd Saylor. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Some of these items can ONLY be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. On some of them (for example if it is a size that might ordinarily be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet), the reason it is in this auction is specifically because we feel it either CAN'T be rolled or because we feel it would be a mistake to roll it, because it might well damage the item. Condition: good to very good. The poster has a few creases, smudges and tears of varying lengths around the edges (mostly repaired with clear tape from the back).
