Zarak, the 1956 Terence Young English British India/Afghanistan romantic epic action adventure thriller ("Motion picture of a thousand spectacles and adventures!"; "Pillage! Plunder! Passion! Mighty epic of Zarak Khan... Bandit, hero, lover!"; "For the harem beauty mighty Zarak fought half a continent!"; "See the dance that shook an Empire!"; "Ekberg's ecstatic dance!"; "The very screen quivers with excitement as ten thousand bandit-warriors attack an empire!"; "'Zarak! Zarak!' Then thousand savage throats roar the name of the bandit-hero! Here is screen spectacle that will overwhelm your senses!"; "Based on a Novel by A.J. Bevan"; "Produced by Irving Allen and Albert R. Broccoli", note that Broccoli went on to produce the James Bond series of movies, which Irving Allen did not want to produce, because he did not think that they were even good enough for television!; a few years later, Allen tried to make up for his massive blunder by producing the series of Matt Helm movies with Dean Martin, but the only way he could get Martin to star was to make him a partner, which meant that Martin made more money from The Silencers in 1966 than Sean Connery made on Thunderball the previous year, and Connery was not happy about that at all!; set on the border between British India and Afghanistan in the 1860s, about an Arab outlaw who develops a close relationship with the British officer assigned to capture him, and sexy Anita Ekberg fits in there somewhere!) starring Victor Mature (in the title role as Zarak Khan), Michael Wilding, Anita Ekberg, Bernard Miles, and Finlay Currie

Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook was folded across the center at one time. Because of this, this pressbook can be sent in one of our standard size packages (if it is purchased together with pressbooks that can NOT be folded, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our oversized packages). But if this pressbook is purchased by itself (or solely with other pressbooks that can be folded), then the shipping will be much lower, because it fits in a standard package. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus an image of an inside spread, but of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are selling (plus any supplements or heralds described above)!

Condition: fair to good, WITH CUTS. There are two cuts on the back cover and there are stains on the front cover of the pressbook.
