An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

The Gay Defender, the 1927 Gregory La Cava silent Old California Gold Rush romantic adventure melodrama ("Story by Grover Jones"; Dix plays an "aristocratic youth" who turns into a "terrorizing night-riding Robin Hood") starring Richard Dix, Thelma Todd (in an early role), Fred Kohler, Jerry Mandy, and Robert Brower. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: very good. There are faint scuffs scattered throughout the still, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. Otherwise, the still is in pretty good condition!
