An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Torchy Blane in Panama, the 1938 William Clemens Central America detective reporter romantic mystery crime thriller sequel ("A new Torchy! ..up to her old tricks!"; "Based upon the characters created by Fredrick Nebel"; one of a series featuring the same character) starring Lola Lane (in the title role as Torchy Blane), Paul Kelly, Tom Kennedy, Anthony Averill, George Regas, and Larry Williams. Note that the first Torchy Blane movie was made in 1937, called "Smart Blonde", and it starred Glenda Farrell in the lead role. There were a total of nine Torchy Blane movies. Farrell played the lead in seven of them. In two of the ones near the end of the series, Jane Wyman and Lola Lane filled in for Farrell, perhaps because she had other commitments. The series only lasted for two years, but was quite popular.
