An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47" x 63" [119 x 160 cm]) (Learn More) Tusk, the 1980 Alejandro Jodorowsky French India elephant relationship melodrama (based on the novel by Reginald Campbell; about a British family living in India, and they own many elephants, and on the day that their daughter is born, an elephant is also born on the very same day, and the girl and the elephant grow up with a mystical bond between them) starring Cyrielle Clair, Anton Diffring, Christopher Mitchum, Serge Merlin, Michel Peyrelon, and Sukumar Anhana. Note that this was Jodorowsky's first movie after his 1970s classics, "El Topo" and "Holy Mountain", and it mystified everyone, including his fans! It is very slow moving, and does not have the same types of strange scenes seen in the earlier two movies, and it apparently received a very limited release (we have only auctioned one other movie paper item from the movie, and that is a very large French poster)!
