Date Sold 8/16/2015 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 5 color 1960 presidential election brochures (each is printed on a single sheet that is folded over to create 4 pages). This is really cool! Someone assembled a scrapbook during 1960, and they put a ton of cool items relating to the John F. Kennedy/Richard Nixon presidential election from that year (including stuff on their Vice President running mates), which included brochures, newspaper articles, bumper stickers, and other items. Since the items were loose or detached from the scrapbook, we divided them by the type of items they were, and are auctioning them in several lots. This lot is for the color brochures that were in the scrapbook. We would think these brochures are at least fairly rare, and would surely be very difficult to reassemble all these items one by one, but the new owner will get them all! We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: from 4" x 8 1/4" to 5 3/4" x 9"Condition: good to very good. All of the brochures were glued into a scrapbook (see above), and they have glue stains on the back, and some of them have a small amount of glue stains on the front or some on the interior pages. See our images to get a good sense of the condition of each item (we have photographed everything).
