This was a clever publicity gimmick designed to make it seem like this movie was far more interesting than it actually was. The star who was covered over was Juliette Prowse, because supposedly she threatened the filmmakers with a lawsuit, but that seems unlikely. While almost all posters and lobby cards have this overprinting or snipe, I have also seen posters and lobby cards with no overprinting or snipe. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
